And now for something completely different

A sock!

I've joined a a ravelry group that's called "sock knitters anonymous". It's wonderful: a whole group of ladies who loves to knit socks as much (or in some cases more) as I do.

The challenge for september is either knitting the mystery sock in a yellow yarn. Or any Wendy Johnson pattern in any colour. The mystery sock is this month designed by Nancy Bush who is by far my sock designer hero!

Nancy is being very sweet and cute with this pattern as she is giving us followers new techniques with every clue! How cool is that?

This is the back and second clue is completed. See that ribbing that's running down the leg? I really think I'm gonna like this enormously. I imagine it might feel like the sock is hugging my calves :)

The front on the right has a pretty lacey pattern that Nancy calles fox faces. I can't see the foxes, yet! Although it seems a bit more noticably on the screen. Can you see the little buggers?

All the clues are up now, so there might be more updates in the near future!
