it has been some time since the last post! everything is working really slow in the land of Lene but i think that somehow it IS going to get better. today i have had so many positive thoughts and i actually can't wait to what the future brings... i can't really explain it - i'm just happy.
in january, how long and dreadfull it was, i made a pair of eunny's endpaper mitts. my first ever stranded colour work! that is a wonderfull pattern and project. even though i thought i was heading for disaster trying to actually make such a beautiful FO, i absolutely enjoyed the process. i can see what eunny means when she says that these are'nt a big commitment at all. they aren't! and i was absolutely mesmerized that it actually worked! I CAN KNIT TWO TONE STRANDED COlOUR WORK. next thing must be her venezian pullover... of course, nothing less.
well, i think less because i have kim hargreaves "maggie" waiting for me, oh la, in the colour of a dragon - she promise. i think i must order some rosewood needles for this project
Edited: rosewood needles are on their way. i only ordered the bigger size needed. i'll wait with ordering more until i know how i knit with them.
